Relax at the beach in Michigan this summer.  Our beautiful cottage is a 2 bed, 2 bath, 1100 sq.ft. slice of paradise.  Private sandy beach (subject to lake levels; we have beach back for 2022!).  Newly renovated throughout.  Uninterrupted views across Lake Huron from the living area and kitchen. Amazing sunsets. Great for star-gazing. Large wrap-around deck, lower yard, fire pit, outdoor gas grill, wifi, smart TV.  Outdoor dining on the deck or lower yard. Lounge area on deck. Fully-equipped kitchen.

Sleeps 8, with a queen in the master, 2 extra-long twin bunks in the 2nd bedroom and a sleeper-sofa in the living room

There's plenty of space to spread out, with a large deck and a lower yard before you get to the beach.  The house is also set well back off the main road.

Port Austin is only 5 minutes away, with restaurants, stores, kayak & bike rental, putt-putt, as well as the Saturday Farmers' Market, which is well worth a visit.  20 minutes in the other direction lies Caseville; the second hand bookshop always gets a visit from our family!

In between Caseville and Port Austin there are several State or County parks worth a visit

The lake is back down from its' high, so the beach is back for 2022 and 2023! Not quite as much as we used to have, but plenty to play on!! Photos show 2017 beach.

Location; the house is located 2 miles west of Port Austin at the tip of The Thumb

This is a newer listing; only put onto Rentalbug mid-March 2017.  We continue to make improvements; in late Summer 2018, all kitchen major appliances were replaced with stainless steel; early Summer 2019, outside was completely repainted. Granite counter-tops and tiled backsplash in 2021. Gutters and downspouts added 2023.  PLEASE CHECK THE CALENDAR WITH THE 'Check Availability' button; it SHOULD be up to date.

During the main Summer vac, rentals are ONLY Saturday to Saturday

There is a $50.00 charge for bed linens and bath towels for all rentals (up to 4 guests; $75 for 5-8 guests) unless renters supply their own

Cable is Comcast 'Limited Basic'.  WiFi is approx 100 Mbps

    We had a beautiful stay at The Blue & White beach house. The beach was actually back this year. Look no further for a Summer rental. Stuart has this home stocked with every need. Bring clothes and food and your all set. Million dollar view, washer and dryer. Upscale dishes, pots and pans. loved our stay and hopefully there will be availability for us to return next year.     We have stayed here twice. The house is pristine, cheerful, and tastefully furnished. I have been very impressed with the attention to detail and the furnishing of every conceivable summer vacation need. The outdoor deck overlooking Lake Huron is lovely. While there is no beach at the moment, you can still swim here and there are great beaches nearby. The owner has been gracious and attentive. We hope to return soon.

    My family has rented this home twice each Summer for the last couple of years. Excellent communication and lightening fast replies with Stuart. Home is beautiful, included is everything you would need for a vacation besides food and clothing. Kitchen is stocked with quality pots, pans and silverware. Stunning views. All around a fantastic experience and I would encourage you to consider this beautiful home for your next Port Austin vacation needs.

    The Blue and White Beach House is amazing! It is clean, well decorated, and has an amazing kitchen,amazing view of the lake,amazing deck and so much more! Out of all the vacation rentals my husband and I have stayed in, this is the only one we would like to come back to! I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone. You will LOVE it!

    This is our second year of enjoying this beautiful cottage. It is everything it describes in the property listing and more. It is Very clean and well maintained.     We were the first renters at the Beach House and can't wait to go back! The relaxation factor was very high; the house decor was so pretty and the beach was unforgettable!
