Book Now for the 2024 Season!

Central Air Conditoning!!!  After a warm day on the lake, the Chalet will be nice and cool for sleeping!

Nature is clearly present indoors and out in this newly renovated beautiful 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet which sleeps 12 people. The lake view outside and the 140 feet of water frontage are equally awesome! When spring arrives, you find a quiet, serene, "on golden pond" experience with spectacular views and frequent sightings of the resident bald eagle and blue heron. Most mornings will greet you with the peaceful sounds of the loons calling and diving for fish out on the lake.

The large sandy beach is perfect for children. A paddleboat, 14' aluminum boat with electric motor, 2009 Yamaha VX watercraft, and a 24' Sweetwater pontoon boat with 60 HP motor are all on property and available for use. The large deck with gas and charcoal grills and patio table overlooks the lake.

Twin Lake is an approximately 650 acre all-sports lake with no public access, and about 30 homes on the entire lake. The majority of the lake has State land frontage, with no easy accessibility to the water. Very private! Hundreds of miles of groomed trails in the area await the ORV or snowmobile enthusiast.

Twin Lake is in close proximity to the two largest inland lakes in Michigan. Houghton Lake is 12 miles away and Higgins Lake is about 18 miles away. Lake St. Helen is only a 10 mile drive from Twin Lake. Drive 15 minutes and you will be in Houghton Lake, St. Helen, or West Branch to make shopping and dining close and convenient.

Come golf the Dream or Nightmare, or one of "America's best-rated courses"-- Forest Dunes in Roscommon. Countless golf courses are within 30 minutes of the property. There is a family/game room with foosball table and lots of board games in the lower level of Twin Lake Chalet. Direct TV and a large assortment of games, videos, and books are on site.

If you are looking for a one of kind, all inclusive, true turn key "getaway" right in the middle of the state, Twin Lake Chalet is just what the doctor ordered!

Start planning for the 2024 season! TLC fills up fast.

We look forward to having you as our guests!

Our family had the most wonderful vacation at the Twin Lake Chalet! The house was just perfect: lots of sleeping space, the pool table, tons of games & movies, and a large kitchen provided space for great family meals. Outdoor activities occupied most of our days: the fishing was fantastic, the jet ski was a blast, and our daily boat cruises were a family hit. Nighttime fire pits were always a hit with smores and great family conversation. There were plenty of toys for the beach and water and there were lots of yard games throughout the week. TLC is an amazing vacation house to make lasting memories with friends and family. Jim Wildman, 6/27/22

Stayed week of 8-15 thru 8-22, 2020. Had a wonderful family vacation. Cabin is well stocked. Plenty of pots, pans and dishes in the kitchen. The fridge is huge, and there's even a second one in the basement. Lots of games for inside to choose from, and movies for the family to watch if the internet was slow. Never ran out of towels in the bathrooms Air conditioning is ice cold, and beds are comfortable. Plenty of outside sand toys, and the kayaks, jet ski and the pontoon were so fun. Our family consisted of 8 adults and one baby. Plenty of room for all. We enjoyed out stay, the owners are friendly, and responsive, and I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family.

We rented this cottage long weekend 9/20/18. Took 93 yr old mother and extended family. Great cottage, good location. Plenty of sleeping room, lots of towels/sheets/cookware and a ton of outdoor play equipment. Location was easy to find, outdoor area perfect and very close to water. Owner very easy to work with, security deposit promptly refunded. I would not hesitate to rent again. We hated to leave, so much to do at the cottage. Thank you for sharing with our family.

We have just booked our week for 2015 which will be our third year in a row. We have 4 kids, 7 grandkids, spouses, brothers & sisters join us each year and just have a week of giggles as the little ones put their fishing line in water and pull out their fish! The bigger ones on the jet skis with their parents or being pulled on the tube! We all get on the pontoon boat and either go swimming, boat ride or fishing! T The lake is wonderful and not crowded which I love! The cottage is beautiful and literally comes with everything you need except food and clothes! We've just had the best time, made unforgettable memories and can't wait to go back!

Caught a two pikes, one was 20'', the other was 22'', and several good size bass. The week with the family on the lake was priceless. Planning a return trip for 2015. Thanks for sharing your home with us Dan and Suzy, and thanks for the bottle of wine.

The home looks great, nice updates. We had a much needed relaxing time at the lake. Had fun fishing, pontooning, and playing baggos. Went to Pirate's Cove mini golf, and discovered a lot of new trials. Great getaway!

Great place for all, young and old. We didn't need to go anywhere, with so many things to do. The renovations were a huge surprise. We didn't think the property could get any better. Will definitely see you next summer.

If you are looking for a relaxing/fun vacation place... this is it! Eight of us came up for the week and had alot of fun. So much to do. Loved that the Pontoon, paddle boat, kayaks and motor boat were included in the price. Not many places include all those toys. Make sure to rent the waverunner - had a blast taking the kids tubing. Was pleasantly surprised at how spacious each of the rooms were along with what the family provided (board games, movies, cards, AIR HOCKEY AND FOOSBALL, etc.) The lake was nice and calm. Neighbors next door were always accommodating when we had questions. Thank you to the Kuhn Family!!!!!

We had such a great time with out kids at the TLC! The house was clean and comfortable, just like home! There were so many things to do but the kids mostly loved swimming and going down the slide! The paddle boat was a nice ride and the lake is so crystal clear! We can't wait to return for another family vacation! Thanks so much Kuhn family!

We are very lucky in these challenging times, but TLC is the best! Its like a little piece of heaven. Watching our family have a great time, and seeing the loons and deer with our morning coffee....priceless. We were spoiled with all the amenities, we will be back!

Laughed...laughed...laughed! Probably gained some weight too. Loved the jet ski, very fast! Also loved all of the games and activities here (paddle boating, corn hole game, foosball, books for mom, campfires, and pontoon rides). Took lots of pictures, and will have great memories forever, thank you!

Pontoon rides were great, went tubing behind the jet ski, and Uncle Ken caught a 24" pike! Had smores on the campfire, and went on tons of paddle boat rides. Thanks for a great time, our stay was wonderful. Love the home, very clean, and you guys had everything we could ask for. We made a lot of great memories on our stay here.

Great family vacation for all of our families! Celebrated all of the holiday's we usually miss together, including: Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter, and even Halloween! Family is what its all about, and we were fortunate to spend it at TLC for our third year in a row. Thanks for the best of times, see you next year!

Amazing weekend fishing, I caught a 25" Largemouth Bass about 200 yards straight out in front of the dock. It is only 2" shy of a Michigan State record, and is so big I can fit my whole fist in its mouth. I'm having it mounted, and I'm sure Dan and Suzy will have a picture up on the website soon. I would highly recommend TLC if your looking for some great fishing! Nieghbors say there is a 4' Northern Pike hanging out in that same area, he's next!

We vacationed at TLC for the second summer in a row. It really is a little piece of heaven. We really love it up there...plenty to do for the kids and adults! Love the big beach and the perfect size of the lake! Hope to return again next year! We would highly recommend it to anyone. We have kids from 3 to 8 and they all had a blast!

We have now stayed at Dan and Suzie's twice, once in 2009 and then again July 2010. It is the best. Absolutely perfect for children. We took our 3 daughters, husbands and 4 grandchildren under the age of four. Everyone you could possibly need is there. And the price is right. The sunsets were phenomenal. Thanks Dan and Suzie for a wonderful time.

The Twin Lake Chalet was our second vacation with our kids and grandkids, but the first year at Twin Lake. We had a wonderful vacation and the accomodations and perks of the Chalet were great! We definitely hope to return next summer for more tubing, relaxing on the pontoon, games with the kids, campfires and S'Mores!

We had the most amazing time on our vacation at your chalet. Everything was just perfect. The chalet had everything we needed, even for our littlest vacationer, who celebrated his first birthday while we were there. There were even some things we brought along that we never needed to unpack, 'cause it was already available at the chalet. The game room was so much fun. My four-year-old daughter loved playing air hockey with her grandma and uncles. We took tons of pontoon rides! It was so much fun watching the first time pontubers, as well as the veterans take their spins around the lake. Having a beach out front was great for the little kids. They could play all the wanted, even when the weather only cooperated for a couple hours. If we wanted to go outside the area, there was tons of stuff to do, but mostly we just stayed and enjoyed each other and our amazing surroundings. We couldn't've have asked for a better place to spend our week together. Thank you so much!

The golfing in that area has gotta be the best we've ever seen! The Nightmare was our favorite. Thanks for providing the corn hole bags game, it made for several good tournaments. We are looking forward to the rematch next season. 2008.

We will never forget watching the sunrise from the deck as the fog rolled across the lake. It was a great week watching my boys and thier families interact with the grandchildren, as they laughed and played on the beach. Your chalet, and surrounding area was perfect for a relaxing and fun vacation week. 2008.

My wife and I spent the weekend, and even though I was there to ceramic tile the walkout basement we had a enjoyable time. The relaxing setting is perfect for a much needed get-a-way, and anything you can ask for is within 20 minutes away. We had a great dinner at a place called Maple View (I think). I'd highly recommend a visit.
