Great location, beautiful home, beach with sugar sand is amazing. Boat launch very close by and state parks and light house is always fun. The home is beautiful with great furnishings and a large TV for rainy days. This works so well for our family. We have stayed here multiple times and have created so many memories.

We normally vacation on the west side of the state. This year we decided to try the east side and we are so glad we did. I have been renting cottages for over 25 years and this had to be one of my top rentals. The beach was right off the deck and was groomed and very nice. Lake Huron was calm the week we were there but a little chili. The cottage was very nice with everything that you could possibly need. Plenty of room for a big family. I would definitely check this place out if you are looking for one of the most peaceful vacation places you'll find in Michigan. And the fishing was good even though our fish finder was not working we were able to pull in some nice walleye including a 8 pounder in 30' of water, straight out in front of the cottage. And if you do decide to stay at this great cottage bring a telescope the night sky was awesome. Thanks Arnie, my parents really enjoyed themselves.

This is our second time at Huron Shores and it is amazing! It is truly a marvelous cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pans, dishes, and utensils that you need. There are movies, games and everything else you need to have a wonderful vacation. We now play Yahtzee every vacation because we played last time we stayed here and started a tradition. The owners are a dream to work with! They really go above and beyond and are part of the reason we keep coming back to this cabin! The beach is sandy and the water shallow for a long way out - perfect for swimming! The new gas fire pit was great to sit out on the deck and enjoy the evenings. My daughter and her friend loved the loft! We did not want to leave!

Huron Shores is hands down the best place I have rented in the Harrisville area, been going there for 35 years and renting a new house every year with my two young boys for the past 5. Absolutely stunning cottage, beautiful property, amazing views, gorgeous windows and decks on front and back. I stayed for 10 days and I wish it had been more, my kids did not want to leave, their favorite was sleeping in the loft. The beach is clear sand and very spacious which is tough to find up there. So quiet and peaceful, definitely what we needed at this time. My family stopped by to visit and fell in love. Hoping to rent here in continuous years! Arnie was great to work with! Erin W

Huron shores is a great place to throw your cares away and find peace. Nestle on a quiet road with views of Lake Huron, paradise is found. Walk on the beach and look at the beauty that surrounds you. The owners are awesome. Kathi and Arnie work with you so you and your family will have a vacation that is memorable. Your family will talk about the vacation for years!

Great people to know. The Rubin's are wonderful to talk to and work with. The cottage has a awesome view of Lake Huron. A lovely lanai that faces the lake and morning sunrise. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. Harrisville has the right mix of things to do. Relaxing is on the top of the list.

We had a wonderful week. Very relaxing and a beautiful area. Very clean cottage and everything is new. The beach has a lot of nature to it and the rental is on a separate road off US23. Very quiet. Definitely will rent again.

Our family spent one week at cottage (wish we would have stayed longer), the lake view was great plenty of space inside and out, very relaxing area. Best part was opening the sliding glass doors early in the morning and listening to the water. Very peaceful week would definitely rent again.

  11. 10/06/2009

Our family of four - including a 14 and 18 year old - thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The cottage itself is beautiful: high ceilings, lots of windows, bright rustic furniture, plenty of pillows and couches, captivating nature photography. Lake Huron is really a relatively secret treasure. There are no crowds, no noise, just a vast Great Lake. Not much of a beach, and a rocky shore, but if you bring your wave shoes, and are only looking for an occasional very chilly dip-this is a relaxing, tranquil and scenic getaway. Great biking!

  12. 10/05/2009

October 5,2009 We enjoyed our stay very much! We would definitely vacation here again. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife. Great for photography. Quiet, peaceful, and not far from stores, restaurants etc. This charming cottage has it all!!
