Peaceful but close.  Our 50's era wood-paneled cottage with gas fireplace sits within the East Tawas city limits but away from traffic and noise.  A pair of large pines frame your views of Tawas Point with its lighthouse and state park and of the public dock with its adjacent beach and boat launch.  Relax atop our seawall and watch the sailboats race past, or climb down into about four feet of (generally) calm water for a refreshing swim.  We love the Tawas area and you will too.

The two bedrooms each contain queen-sized beds,.  A trundle bed in the enclosed porch can accommodater younger guests. Linens and blankets are provided.  The kitchen is equipped with stove, refridgerator, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes, and cookware.  Cable television and wireless internet service are proviided.

Exit I-75 at Standish and follow US-23 north to East Tawas.  The cottage is about one half mile beyond Newman Strreet.  Please contact us for more exact information. 

There is no added cleaning fee. The cottage will be cleaned before you arrive and after you leave.  You will be responsible for keeping it in order while you are there.

This location is unsuitable for anyone planning loud or late-night parties.
