Our cottage has been updated and is ready for you to rent. Lake Michigan Grand Traverse Bay is your front yard. We are located in the Village of Norwood, halfway between Charlevoix and Torch Lake. The lake is shallow for a long distance, making it perfect for kids to play while you watch from the deck.
Overlooking Lake Michigan shoreline, the cottage is located on a quiet road. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed and an additional hide-a-bed/couch. The other bedroom has two singles. Each bedroom has its own balcony. The downstairs bedroom also has a queen bed.
There is a full bath downstairs and a half-bath upstairs.
The living area includes living, dining and kitchen. There is a fireplace, a fire pit, a gas grill and two kayaks available for your enjoyment.
Norwood is located on Highway 31, 8 miles south of Charlevoix. Lake Street in Norwood takes you to Lake Shore Drive. The Bates cottage is about two miles from there on Lake Shore Drive.
