Private car can be arranged; public bus transportation is accessable 1 block away. Briarwood Mall and restaurants are a few short blocks walk.

My fiance and I stayed here last fall during a football weekend. It turned out to be more than a simple football game though - he proposed in our old dorm (South Quad). Jan knew his plans and had champagne and chocolate waiting for us in our room when we returned that night. So sweet of her.

A breath of fresh air in a lodging market filled with overpriced new housing and delapidated make-due choices, Davies House in Georgetown provided an exceptional, home-like setting for my two month study at UM. Jan's orientation made Ann Arbor feel like my hometown. Clean, comfortable, warm, and friendly are available at an affordable price. Available when needed, absent offering privacy, Jan meets customer needs with solutions: airport pick-up, on the bus route, a bike available, near running trails and parks, close to restaurants and shopping yet in a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. Good place for my needs.

If you are looking for a warm, inviting, and friendly atmosphere and host, then this is the place for you! The accomodations are lovely and very comfortable. Jan is a fount of information and really goes out of her way to ensure your stay is a great one. I highly recommend the Davies House in Georgetown.

As a woman traveling alone on business, the Innkeeper was extremely helpful to me. She suggested a safe route for me to run, she made restaurant reservations, and even scoped out parking near my destination for me ahead of time. Outgoing, friendly, always interested in my needs. Exceeded my expectations! A delightful experience.

Stayed for two weeks while in Ann Arbor for a University of Michigan Project. The innkeeper was extremely helpful, and provided valuable suggestions - it was like having our own Mom! Great food, pretty golf course setting, quiet residential neighborhood perfect for a walk or jog. Thanks Jan!

Spent 3 weeks in a cozy effeciency. Jan went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. Knows everybody, gave us great suggestions about things we enjoy doing, even gave us a ride in an emergency. Thanks Jan!

Came for a month long internship at UM Medical Campus. Couldn't have been more pleased with the accomodations: helpful innkeeper, quite neighborhood, accessability to transportation, and attention to details. Already booked for next year's rotation.

Delightful home on the first fairway of a golf course. Scrumptious breakfast, thoughtful and attentive innkeeper who surprised us with extras: packed us a brown bag breakfast for an early morning flight, invited us to a tailgate party before the University of Michigan Game, and had sparkling juice at breakfast to help us celebrate. WE'll be back!

03/28/2006 CUSTOMER SERVICE with capital letters. Jan anticipates your needs and welcomes you into her home. She planned breakfast around my dietary needs and preferences; she recommended fabulous restaurants, and her relationships in the community got us in to a full house. The home is inviting, the room was clean and comfortable. A great value
