Enjoy a vacation in this house from the 1800's that has been recently updated. Our two units (upstairs and downstairs) can be combined to host a large family. Located in a quiet neighborhood, you are just blocks from the water, beach, lighthouse, marina and downtown making it convenient to walk anywhere. The roomy lower unit has a full kitchen, laundry room, three bedrooms (king, queen & double beds), a spacious living room and formal dining room with one bath. The upper unit has a master bedroom (king bed) and a children's bedroom (two singles, crib, room for sleeping bags), an eat-in kitchen, living room and bath. The upper is perfect for couples or families with young children. The lower is great for larger groups of extended families and friends. Combine the two for large family gatherings.

Ludington is the perfect vacation spot. From the Hideaway, you can walk to town to many restaurants, bars, quaint shops and antique stores. Not to mention: we just three blocks from everyone's favorite ice cream store: The House of Flavors! We're also an easy walk or bike ride to the marina, city parks, the lighthouse or Sterns Park -- a huge public beach, children's play area, and picnic area. For the adventurous, a seven mile bike ride to the Ludington State Park is a great way to spend the day -- sand dunes on your right, Lake Michigan on your left.
RATES/PAYMENT INFORMATION
Spring and Fall (Lower Unit) These rates go into effect April 15 and run to Memorial Day Weekend. They start again after Labor Day and run until October 15.
Spring and Fall (Upper Unit) These rates go into effect April 15 and run to Memorial Day Weekend. They start again after Labor Day and run until October 15. Add a third day to a weekend stay for $60. ($210 for three days)
Memorial Day to Labor Day (Lower Unit) $550-1175 per week. Most weeks are $1025 in the summer with July 4th being a premium week at $1175. We only rent by the week during this period of time unless there is still availability two weeks before your desired arrival time. Then we will rent for
Memorial Day to Labor Day (Upper Unit) $300-450 per week. June weeks start at $375. Most weeks are $425. Three on three week is $475 and 4th of July is $450. We only rent by the week during this period of time unless there is still availability two weeks before your desired arrival time. T

We rented the upper unit in the summer of 2009. It was VERY spacious and it is modest when it is said that there are 2 bedrooms, because they already had 2 twin beds a crib a dresser and a fold out bed in it and it still looked like another full sized bed could fit in it! Very worth the money to stay here. I have stayed in some nice 5 star hotels hotels in my life and this place actually beats some of them!

We had a wonderful time in 2009 at The Hideaway. Convenient to everything... beach, town, restaurants. Our kids loved it and we're booked for 2010. Spacious downstairs is so much better than booking two or three motel rooms. You can spread out. Rates were reasonable too.
