MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

The Sweetwater Cabin comfortably sleeps 4 adults in two bedrooms, and can fit 5 or 6. This rustic vertical log cabin has been fully improved to provide many modern amenities deep within the Manistee National Forest. The Pere Marquette River is within a hundred feet of the cabin. At the cabin you will find:

A completely outfitted kitchen, including microwave, conventional oven, fridge and all utensils.

Bathroom with stall shower and all toiletries including towels.

Electric baseboard heat, substantial cut stone heat-a-lator fireplace, trivet and steak grills.

The cabin will sleep 4 adults comfortably. It will sleep up to 6 if one pair is sharing the extra large bottom bunk, and someone is using the trundle bed. It has two over-length (6 foot 6 inch) bunks in one bedroom, and in the other bedroom there is one regular top bunk, one extra large bottom bunk, and one pull out trundle bed under the extra large bottom bunk.

One 15' Grumman lightweight aluminum canoe and one 16' fiberglass and teak lapstreak rowing launch--we call her the "Glass Slipper".

20' X 10' screen porch for eating, relaxing and preparing for your outdoor adventures.

Grilling is always a hit. And with an outdoor campfire pit, state park type barbecue grill, and even grilling gear for the fireplace, you'll want to bring lots of things to cook over the coals.

You will be deep in the woods, surrounded by the river's peace and solitude, so bring all of the food you'll need for your stay.

You'll find fishing gear for the kids, but will probably want to bring your own trout rigs if you are a serious fisherman.

All bedding and linens are supplied, though you may want to bring a couple of sleeping bags if there are more than 6 people in your party.

ADDITIONAL PROPERTY INFORMATION

The Sweetwater Cabin is the only cabin on its side of the river for miles. We are on a two acre lot, and surrounded by hundreds of square acres of wild Manistee National Forest. We don't rent the cabin after October, or before April.

RATES/PAYMENT INFORMATION

Basic Rates

Daily: $200.00
Weekly: $1,204.00

Additional:

3 night minimum starting at $600 for three nights. Pricing is based on a $200 per night fee with a two percent discount for every night after three. So seven nights would be $1,204.
