Within a few miles of the famous Pere Marquette River where one of the country's larges trout was recently caught. You are also close to Lake Michigan where you visit light houses and ride sand dune buggies. The wild flower santuary is within 5 miles as well as dirt bike and snow mobile trails.

MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Relax and enjoy our fully furnished and very clean 3,000 sq. ft. private home with sandy frontage on 50 acre Pettibone Lake. We provide a paddle boat and row boat but you can bring your own motorized water craft too. There are three full baths (one on each floor) and a Jacuzzi in the secord floor bathroom. Take advantage of the outdoor view and fresh air on either of the two covered porches overlooking the lake. Bald eagles are often spotted looking for fish and you will hear the loons as they glide across the lake. An enclosed porch is perfect for air hockey, cards, or board games.

The W. W. Lodge sleeps 12 comfortably with options for 6 more pull-out beds. There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed. The second floor has one bedroom overlooking the lake with a queen size bed. There is a bunk room with three double beds and two single beds with movable privacy screens. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and windows.

We provide a washer and dryer, large gas grill, attached two-stall garage, out door shed, fire pit and all the amenities needed for the perfect family gathering, scrap booking, holiday get-away, fishing, hunting, golfing, casino gambling, or a romantic hide-away.

For day trips you are only 30 - 45 minutes from the Lake Michigan shoreline for stops at Ludington or Pentwater. You can ride the sand dunes or travel north to Traverse City or west to Big Rapids. The Manistee Casino is only about 50 minutes away or fish the Pere Marquette River just down the road. You can walk the National Wild Flower Sanctuary, ride the snow mobile trails, bike on the paths, ride a horse, or ski the slopes. For more information about special area events check with the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, West Michigan Tourist Association, or Newaygo County Chamber of Commerce.

We have a 5-night minimum stay during June, July, and August but stay as long as you like as the per-night fee lessens the longer you stay. You pick the dates and we provide the enjoyment. Hope to hear from you soon.
