Nice cottage in a quiet and private setting. The location on the lake is perfect, close to everything and protected from the glaring afternoon sun. The owners are responsive and easy to work with. The property lakefront is shallow and sandy and perfect for swimming and boating. We also enjoyed fires at night in the fire pit right next to the lake! Thank you Kara and Joel.

My wife and I had an extended weekend in this cabin a week ago, and we both think this place is beautiful. I have been going to Houghton Lake for the last 10 years and have finally found a place that we want to come back to. The sunsets are truly unbelievable. We are already trying to move things around in our schedules so we can get back up there in August.

What a great cottage! The pictures show you exactly what you'll see. We had a group of 4 up for the weekend and it was more than we expected. The view of sunsets is fantastic, the cottage is clean and neat and within driving distance of everything you'll need. It's right on the lake and provides a great weekend getaway!
