Easy access to everything Charlevoix has to offer. The Lake Michigan beach is only one block away, perfect for finding those rare Petoskey stones. The public Lighthouse beach is just another block away with volleyball nets, swing sets, and a lifeguard. Ferry Beach, a public beach on Lake Charlevoix, is only one mile away, also with volleyball nets and playground items. There is a 15 mile bike trail between Charlevoix and Petoskey. Bikes and boats are both offered for rent from downtown shops. Castle Farms is about two miles away from the house where one can usually take a tour and participate in castle activities. If you're interested in casinos, Petoskey's new Odawa Casino is only 20 minutes away.

MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This classic Charlevoix home has been remodeled throughout. Beautiful hardwood floors in large Living Room, Formal Dining Room, and all five bedrooms. The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and a door to the main floor bathroom. The other four bedrooms are upstairs, three of which have queen size beds. The fourth sleeping area upstairs has two futons and a TV, a great room for the younger generation. There is also a mini kitchen upstairs, and a full bathroom with a shower. The main kitchen on the first level is very large with tile floors and new appliances. Every conceivable item has been provided for you, including a toaster, coffee pot, pancake griddle, dishes, pots and pans, etc. There is both an enclosed back porch and a vestibule in front. The highlight is the very large front porch, excellent for sitting out to enjoy those summer evenings.

The house is clean and neat. The rooms are spacious. Only one block to the Lake Michigan beach and beautiful sunsets. Three blocks to downtown shops, restaurants, and the city Marina. This is the perfect home to come relax in.
