MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

SettledInn is an English Cottage/Pottery Barn decorated newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 full bath cottage in the popular Palisades Park Country Club near South Haven, Michigan.  Atop the highest point in the Park next to an incredible 180 degree Lake Michigan view from the fabled Water Tower, this cottage is one you that creates family memories.  With its Cape Cod Gray exterior, white trim and its quilted and updated bedrooms, you and your family will make a habit of sleeping in late.  The master bedroom has a queen, the guest has two twins and the third bedroom has a bunk with a twin that is perfect to sleep three adults or children.  The main room has a pull out sofa sleeper. Sleeps nine comfortably and all beds have newer quilted decor.

The kitchen has granite counter tops with new appliances including washer.  There are two large porches, one inside and one outside that always have a cool Lake Michigan breeze. White wicker furniture offers a nice retreat with a morning coffee.  Wood burning fireplace is available and great to roast marshmallows after a game of cards.

Cottage is painted throughout with a Pottery Barn decor that is bright with yellow's, whites, blues and red accents that all sit on a newly laid wide planked pine floor.  Both bathrooms are full, one having an old iron claw tub with shower insert and the other having a stand alone shower. New washer and dryer are a few steps away.

The location lends itself to feeling like you on top of the trees while the private sand beach is located a short walk down the hill. Spend the day on the beach then return to cool relaxation with a summer bar-b-que meal and an evening under the stars next to the fire pit.

Because SettledInn is located on 5 lots, their are no neighbors near.  You will have your own oasis with quiet, lots of trees, numerous birds and the occasional deer.  If you are lucky you might sight the neighborhood owl .

Palisades Park Country Club is a timeless place with dirt roads and memories throughout.  Established in 1897, this park is like no other with its sand dunes, wildflower fields, clay and regular tennis courts, and access to the wonderful Beaches of Lake Michigan.  A timeless soda bar also allows the entire family to satisfy their sweet tooth with an ice cream cone and lunch after a full day on the beach.  Electric golf cart is included to make your travels throuhgout the park a little easier.

Located 14 miles south of South Haven Michigan and about 35 minutes from Saugatuck/Douglas, there is more than enough shopping and sights to see.  Numerous high quality restaurants are available within a short driving distance.  South Haven is known for it maritime/boating life with an incredible Marina. Saugatuck is known for its shopping and quality restaurants.
