Our home is located on the water inside the Leland Harbour, on Lake Michigan. Just a five-minute walk from Historic downtown Leland, you can enjoy yourself while you prowl around town, explore Fishtown,and walk the docks. You will discover our little town's unique eateries, pizza at the Bluebird, lunch at the Stonehouse, but make sure you take a loaf of their bread home with you! Try Sunday brunch at the the Riverside Inn and try their Tender Bender, but don't forget to stop at Sisson's for Linda's scrumptious cookies and cheese puffs, also, do not miss your opportunity to explore Leland's specialty shops. There is easy access to beach walk or swim in the gentle waves of Lake Michigan. Or, if you just want to walk the docks to look at the boats, and then head over to The Cove for that after dinner drink. You will find what so many others have, that The Leelanau Peninsula is a vacationer's paradise and this lower level walkout apartment is in the heart of it!
Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, and views of both Manitou Islands, try your skills at fishing on one of many fishing charters in Fishtown. Leland is ideally located near Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Lake Leelanau, and Traverse City. Take a day and head to Glen Arbor for kayaking or canoeing, head to Empire to hike the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Or, if you really need a reason to stay in Leland, take a day and tour the many wine orchards in Leelanau County has to offer!
