O Sole Mio is a cute, clean, cozy lakefront cottage on the North Shore of Sand Point, a scenic five-mile long peninsula located just west of downtown Caseville in Michigan’s Thumb region. Enjoy a peaceful resort-like atmosphere filled with winding canals, lively water activity, mature trees, and quaint colorful cottages, yet just minutes from town. Sand Point is famous for its strikingly vivid sunsets. Plus you won’t find a more desirable beach in the area, with miles of luxurious sand touching sparkling blue water right at your doorstep.
The cottage combines the finest features of the 1950s with modern day amenities. An abundance of windows, lots of brick and knotty pine, coupled with an inviting contemporary décor offers you a relaxing getaway. And best of all, O Sole Mio is located only a two hour drive away from most of the Detroit metro area. This is a secret summer hideaway yet undiscovered and still affordable.

Two Bedroom (plus additional sleeping area), two full bath (each with a stall shower) cottage on a nicely wooded lot, with a 50' Lakeside Deck overlooking scenic Saginaw Bay. Expansive views of the Charity Islands and Caseville city lights. Fabulous Sandy Beach is perfect for swimming, sunning, and strolling. Cottage has been completely refurbished with hardwood and ceramic tile floors, newer carpeting, kitchen countertops, sink, appliances, and bathroom fixtures. Freshly painted and furnished throughout. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lake. Excellent city water. Sleeps up to eight: One queen bed (Bedroom #1), another queen bed (in den area), two sets of bunkbeds (Bedroom #2). Two+ car garage--great for storing bicycles, water toys, and small boats.
Avoid the noise and traffic congestion of M-25 (Port Austin Road). The speed limit on Sand Point is only 35 miles an hour and features a host of nicely paved, picturesque streets; ideal for bicycling and leisurely walks. 150' deep lot offers privacy and ample parking.

RENTALS BY THE WEEK ONLY FROM FRIDAY TO FRIDAY DURING THE SUMMER SEASON (JUNE 22 through SEPTEMBER 7).
Additional charge of $150.00 per week for the 4th of July week and the Cheeseburger Festival Week.
A signed lease agreement and a $250 security deposit is required to reserve the cottage.

Great property with great beach. Very open floor plan with lots of windows, which provide a great view of the lake. Perfect for a family with children (which is what we were). The house had lots of books, games, puzzles, etc that kept us busy when it was raining or cold. The house was very clean, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. All linens and blankets were provided...you just have to bring your own towels (which is much better than most places). Only downsides were 1) no air conditioning, although the number of windows create a lot of air flow and they have many fans and 2) no washer and dryer, but as long as you know that ahead of time, it's no big deal. Coin laundry is not that far away if necessary.
