MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This lovely 1929 log home, on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron,  is complete with mostly original furnishings.  Many unique features make this a remarkable home for your vacation.  It is 2 stories with 4 bedrooms and 1 bath and will sleep up to 10 comfortably.  All bedrooms and bath are upstairs.  1 bedroom has 2 double beds, the other 3 bedrooms have 1 double bed each and one room has a crib.  One of the sofas will convert to a bed, also.  The single bath features a large shower and built-in vanity.  The large living room features a stone fireplace and painted original wood flooring.  The dining room has a table large enough to seat at least 10.  The kitchen is amazing!  It has a very rustic look with built-in knotty pine cupboards, vintage electric stove (works great!), brand new refrigerator and plenty of dishes & utinsels.  There is a screened room off the kitchen to hang up wet bathing suits, store fishing gear or get cleaned up before coming in the house.  The lake side of the house has a small covered porch with bench seating,  there is a deck overlooking the water and about 5 steps down to the sandy beach and firepit.  This home is completely furnished - NO television or telephone service, no washer & dryer - including linens and towels & games, puzzles & books for rainy days.  There is also a grill.  Some more unique features - hand carved pine stair railings, twig curtain rods, iron light fixtures, old swing-out windows, hand hewn mantle over fireplace and huge log beams on the ceiling.  The owners request that there be no smoking in the home.  This home is located between Tawas and Oscoda, close to boat dockage, fishing piers, shopping & dining and other recreational activities.
