Walk to the village. This two-bedroom cottage on Lake Michigan is walking distance to the Harbor and Village of Elk Rapids. Two bedrooms (1-queen, 1-full), and a twin daybed in the front sun room (all new mattresses). The cottage looks out over Lake Michigan and a wide, 150-foot long sandy beach where you may find clamshells and Petoskey stones. New kitchen includes microwave and dishwasher; living room leads to a sun room with dining table; wood deck has table and chairs for al fresco dining. The Village of Elk Rapids has a grocery store, antiques, restaurants, specialty shops, movie theatre, and boutiques. Elk Rapids boasts the best harbor on Lake Michigan, with a public launch and facilities; or put in on Elk Lake and enjoy the "Chain of Lakes" for boating and fishing. Walk from the cottage to the village marina and admire the motoring and sailing boats; or enjoy street jazz and art shows in the charming downtown area. Elk Rapids is located between Traverse City and Charlevoix.

This cottage is part of a five-unit Condominium with beach and large common areas shared between five cottages. North Bayshore Drive, a picturesque side road, sits between beach & cottage and is a popular destination for walkers, in-line skaters, and bicyclists.
