Lakefront one bedroom, furnished condo. Dock for your boat, access to many ORV trails. There is a golf course just around the corner. Lake St. Helen is an allsports lake. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, trailriding, hunting, or just relaxing. The new Standish casino is 45 mintues away. Watch the sunrise in the morning. It is close to Houghton Lake, Higgins Lake, West Branch, and Roscommon. There is a marina next door if you would like to rent a boat. Update 5/18/09: Roscommon County has now opened all county roads for ORV access. You can now drive to the trails from the condo or into town for ice cream!!

Lake St. Helen is located in Roscommon County. It is a man-made lake covering 2930 acres. The lake has crappie, bluegill, perch, largemouth/smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. Fly-fishing can be done on the AuSable River. The headwaters of the southern branch of the AuSable begin at Lake St. Helen. Red Pine Natural Area Pathway Trailhead is 8 miles North of St. Helen via F-97 and Sunset Road. There is a beach less than a quarter mile away. There are several ORV trails that are close to the condo that you can now drive to. There is a golf course just around the corner. Houghton Lake is just 15 mintues away. For those that like to shop, the Tanger Outlet Mall in West Branch, just 20 mintues east. In July, St. Helen has the Bluegill Festival and in August there is an ORV Jamboree (go to www.sainthelenchamber.net for more info).
