MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
Neumann's Loafers Retreat is located on the shores of West Long Lake (Presque Isle Co.), nestled amoung Birch and Maple trees. We offer peace and relaxation, whether it is enjoying the Morning Sunrise, or a cozy, and spacious knotty pine Cottage. Our (3) Lake Front cottages are two bedrooms, with bathroom facilties, large living/dining room combinations with all windows facing the lake, within 30 feet. They are fully equipped kitchens with gas stoves, refrigerator, dishes, cookware, blankets, pillows, and a studio coach or futon. Towels and Linens are not furnished. Each cottage has its own dock, for your boat or a furnished 14 foot fiberglass row- boat. 4.5 hp Johnson motors are available to rent, first come first serve, or when you reserve your cottage. We have a private central shower room, and handicap restroom, we offer swimming, boating, kayaking, horse-shoes, volleyball, swings, and evening campfires, free wood. Gas grills are furnished as well. We are located within six miles of a marina, a local supermarket, and a laundromat. Alpena located approx. 13 miles South, on US-23, offers good shopping, theaters, churches, and a Plantarium/Museum. 20 miles North is The Nautical City of Rogers City, featuring a full facilty Marina. Long Lake has Northern Pike, Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Panfish are here to tempt the angler for fishing at it's best. Charter Service is available for Lake Huron, where Salmon, Lake Trout, Brown Trout and 10# Walleyes are found. Area Attractions: Jesse Besser Museum (Alpena) , Thunder Bay Theater (live acting), Ocqueoc Falls (PI. County), Old Presque Isle Lighthouses, Thompson Harbor Park Preserve, Leer area Sink Holes and Presque Isle Harbor (big boat fishing) .
