Enjoy the rippling sand and sunrise view while you sip your coffee on our peaceful summer cottage. Bring your boat and dock it at the house, or rent a Pontoon. Cozy 2 bedroom with fold out sleeps 4 to 6 people.Featuring a queen bed, 2 twin and fold out in livingroom We have provided a row boat and paddle boat at the home for your use. Black Lake is located in Cheboygan and Presque Isle Counties in northeast Lower Michigan. This 10,000+ acre lake is six miles long and over 3 miles wide. Onaway State Park encompasses 158 acres of land that runs along the southeast shore of the lake. The park contains picturesque cobblestone beaches, unique rock formations and a variety of trees and wildlife. You will find several miles of nature trails in the park for hiking, and Black Lake is well known for their fishing and boating. The lake supports a variety of game fish, including walleyes, yellow perch, small and largemouth bass, northern pike, sturgeon, rock bass and brook trout. Every February, Black Lake hosts the annual Sturgeon Shivaree, a festival that features ice fishing and snowmobile racing. There are also a variety of natural attractions and historic attractions located not far from the park. The highest waterfalls in lower Michigan are only 10 miles east of the park, and 15 miles south are a variety of natural sinkholes.

Weekly rental only from May to Sept. Weekends spring/fall. Contact us for winter rates Rental is from 3pm Sat to 10 Am Sat.

1/2 due upon deposit, 1/2 due month of rental.
300.00 Security deposit required and returned after home is vacated by mail. We expect you to leave home as you found it. If additional cleaning is needed 75.00 to 150.00 charge will be applied. Garbage to be put in trash cans by road.Cancellations and Refunds: None within 21 days.
Deposits: Non refundable, but may be applied to another date within 12 months if plans change.
