Lakeview Cottage comfortably sleeps 8 is located in a small wooded quiet neighborhood along the shore of Lake Michigan.  It is  750 square ft. 1 1/2 bath, with 2 small bedrooms, queen size beds, and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The open floor plan which offers a nice fire place and an unobstructed view of beautiful Lake Michigan and fabulous sunsets. The large yard offers plenty of out door space and immediate acess to the sandy beach. To the back of the property is a nice jogging track and a frog pond that the kids will love( we can't keep our kids out of it!). The lakeview Loft is our newly constructed 2009 home that sleeps 8 people. A 570 sq. ft. second story loft with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan from your kitchen, living room dining or your 10x12 ft. deck lake side. Beautiful vaulted open beam ceilings with skylights. Open floor plan, full kitchen, hard wood floors/ custome wood work throughout with tile bathroom. 1 bedroom on main floor: 1 Queen bed, loft 1 Queen bed: Full sleeper sofa. A very charming and cozy space.

We are building an additional sleeping space that will have 1 twin bunkbed. to acompany the Lakeview Loft for 8 person sleeping.   

Air conditioning in both homes, shared laundry facility / third bathroom. 

The cottage and loft are centrally located among the great shoreline towns of Coloma, Saint Joseph, and South Haven.  Close to shopping, golf, and great wineries.

We have 2, 2 person kayaks to rent.

We have a 60' bluff in front of property so it would be hard to get boats down unless they are very light weight. There are boat launches in St.Joseph, 8 miles away as well as small lakes nearby.

Cottage is actually located  8 miles north of St. Joseph.  It is a straight shot down M63 from the cottage to St. Joseph. The town of Coloma is located inland about 6 miles.

We accept credit cards, 3% fee. Lakeview Cottage: $1,500 week,7 person max occupancy, we have sleeping for 6 you accommodate the additional sleeping for 2, MAX OCCUPANCY 8, $50 fee per guest for additional guests. $75.00 CLEANING 350 refundable

This is a lovely secluded place with a wonderful private beach. The grandchildren had a wonderful time at the beach and at the frog pond. There is lots of space for all kinds of activities. We are returning in 2009 to enjoy the cottage and the new loft space.

This property has a great location. House was clean, kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils and the fireplace was set up and ready for sparking. The stairs to the beach are built in to the bluff and they were a little rough the first couple trips down and up. We got used to it though. If needed, there is a public beach access next to the property. Overall, great property and location for a reasonable price. I'll look forward to possibly returning next July 4th week.
