ADDITIONAL PROPERTY INFORMATION
Our condo has a deeded boat slip which we can make available for your own boat use during your stay (1 watercraft only). Our old fashioned web folding chairs can easily set up nicely on the dock for evening sunset or daytime sunning. The North access to Torch Lake at Eastport is 15 minutes away and nearby Thurston Park has a public boat launch and public swimming beach on Intermediate Lake. Additionally we have a 14 foot two person kayak with paddles and PFDs to allow guests short or longer tours on any of the 6 connecting lakes. (Guests must comply with all safe boating practices). We must insist, however, that none of our boating property be removed from the premises, due to insurance considerations. We also can help guests arrange for a pontoon boat rental through local marina facilities. All connecting lakes (Intermediate, Hanley, Benway, Wilson, Ellsworth, St. Clare and Six Mile) are "all sports." Great fishing for walleye, pike, perch and many varieties of bass. You will never kayak more beautiful interconnecting waterways than the Chain-o-Lakes.
The onsite condominium pool (directly across from our unit) is great for kids but they must be supervised as there is no dedicated lifeguard on duty.
We provide all bed linens, sheets, and towels (washer and dryer available). Bring your own beach towels and food and drink for your stay. Everything else awaits your arrival! We do ask that you remove whatever you bring in to mimimize our turn over cleaning. We promise you a stay in a spotless, comfortable home.
To make a reservation we require a $300.00 deposit 6 weeks prior to the week of rental (refundable if circumstances dictate - we are honest and understanding folks). Some summer rental periods may require a deposit placed much earlier in the season to reserve peak summer times. We ask for full payment for the balance in our hands 4 weeks before the rental week begins to lock in any reservation. We reserve a timeslot upon receipt of deposit and we "lock in" timeslots upon full rental payment. Once "locked in" we will never back out of OUR committment for a given rental timeslot. TO SAVE YOU MONEY, WE DO NOT REQUIRE THAT OUR GUESTS PAY A CLEANING FEE (yet we reserve the right to assess one if our trust is taken advantage of). All funds paid in U.S. dollars, please. Credit cards can be accepted via phone authorization between owner and prospective renters (may require a 2 day processing). Lock box codes for access provided upon satisfactory funds clearing bank processing. No exceptions. Thank you.
Our availability calendar is updated weekly (please check calendar below to see if your desired time slot is available).

Absolutely lovely condo, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything one could desire for a wonderful vacation. Large rooms and comfortable beds...the condo is centrally located to many visitor attractions. One evening we even saw 3 small deer playing at the condo entrance...water fowl could be seen daily on Hanley Lake and a 5 minute boat ride under the bridge took us to fishing and swimming on Intermediate Lake! Would definately rerent this property...the owners are so accommodating and truly wish for their guests to be comfortable and happy in their beautiful home during ones stay. Thank you Gary and Sheri!!!

What an amazing place! My family including my two month old son, wife, father-in-law and brother-in-law stayed at this wonderful place in the end of July. It is very spacious and clean. We were able to spread out and not be on top of each other. This was our 2nd year in a row at this place and we will be back next year!

What a great place for an Up North escape. The condo is amazingly neat and clean, and has just about everything you could want -- from a kitchen that's great for cooking (and stocked with the necessary implements) to gear for enjoying the lake. Tons of room and very quiet -- perfect for relaxing. The location is great if you want to just relax there or visit the towns and lakes in the surrounding area. Our two boys, ages 3 and 5, loved staying there and checking out the docks along the lake. We hope to visit again sometime soon. Thanks.

The location coupled with the immaculate appearance of the condo far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful evening views, kayak rides down the lake and short walks to downtown Central Lake made this probably our most enjoyable and relaxing vacation to date. Frankly I think our family never wanted to leave. From map guides to video games, the homeowner had included everything we could possibly need to get the most out of our stay. The location allows for day trips north to Mackinac Island or south to Traverse City. The condo was well laid out and could have acommodated a group much larger than our family of four. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later. We're already planning our next visit!
