Beautiful, like new cabin (built in 1993, but rarely used) on the family friendly Starvation Lake. 1bdrm with a Queen bed. 2nd bedroom is a loft with bunk beds and a futon. Living room has a pull out couch. Deck with a wonderful view of the lake.  Sandpit for bonfires down by the lake too! We keep it very clean and comfortable.

Starvation Lake offers a large sandy beach and All sports. Sandy bottom, ideal for swimming and good fishing.  A great spot for families. also, within walking distance to the Hide Away Bar & Grill(Entertainment) & the Trading Post store. Snowmobiling and ORV trailhead just across the road.

~55 Minutes to Traverse City. ~50 Minutes to Shanty Creek ~30 Minutes to Turtle Creek Casino. ~35 Minutes to Gaylord ~10 Minutes to Mancelona area restaurants and trails. ~15 minutes to the Kaliseum (indoor pool, recreation center, ice skating rink) This is a great central location for day trips to Gaylord, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Petoskey, and many other places of interest.

Our family had a wonderful time up at Starvation Lake. The place was amazing - clean and spacious. Our kids loved being able to sleep in the loft! The view was beautiful. We had fun swimming, fishing, and going on trips into Traverse and Petoskey. Thank you!

we had such a wonderful time staying here. the cabin was in beautiful condition and very clean. there was plenty of space for our family. the deck was amazing to sit out on and just enjoy the peacefulness. the lake was beautiful and wonderful for the kids to go swimming in. we are looking forward to going back again this summer. a true vacation spot!

This was a wonderful place for us and our two boys (ages 1 & 2). The lake was secluded enough to be relaxing and not over crowded with people, but big enough to enjoy tubing and water skiing! We loved the cottage. It was clean and very spacious. We will be going back many times in the future!

This cabin was perfect for my family of 7. There was plenty of room for all of us. We always had something to do and it was close enough to Traverse City that we were able to visit there as well. Everything was handled smoothly and the owners were great to work with. Can't wait to go back!!
