We are located at the tip of Michigan?s Thumb about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from the Detroit metropolitan area. If coming from Detroit, take M53 (Van Dyke) north to Port Austin. At the traffic light turn left and follow M25 one mile to Larned Road. Turn right and you will see us on the left about half a block north. From Port Huron, take M25 up the coast to Port Austin. Turn right on M53/M25 to the traffic light. Turn left and follow M25 one mile to Larned Road and turn right. We are on the left side of the road. Coming from the west on M25 turn left onto Larned Road just as you reach the Port Austin Village limits. We are open year round.

this charming motel is owned by two very nice people and is about a half block up from the beach. you can hear the bay from the courtyard. service was excellent and the room was very clean. all of the appliances worked and the dishes, pots/pans and silverware were in great shape. beds were also very clean and very comfortable. i'm going back there.
