The Apple and Pear Street B&B is a fabulous Ann Arbor city Bed & Breakfast, home stay. Joni and her family, have been long time residents of A2(Ann Arbor), for more than 25 years!
The B&B's name is inspired by its location on fruit named streets, the Northside of town! Several distinct and eclectic guest rooms await you at this farmhouse style family home. Choose the Great Lakes room, which has a soothing blue, lighthouse decor, over looking the Apple street petite garden patio. Maybe, the Safari room which offers guests the "earthy" feeling of a meditative space, or the M-Den which hails to the Victors, immersed in the great tradition of the Michigan "maize and blue".
In addition, you may delight in the romantic Shabby Chic style room offering pastel delicacy with its artist created Victorian chandelier, while you bask in the glow of soft, natural light from double wide, west windows.
Enjoy your time in the outdoor patio garden, with its intimate little pond. Our registered "urban" wildlife habitat evokes sweet sounds of nature and birds abounding while nestled in the busy Ann Arbor cityscape! Next, check out one of our two charming porches for quiet reflection, reading or an afternoon tea.
Come share interesting conversations with Joni, your caring innkeeper, who has had careers as a childcare provider, an architect/designer, plus a portrait photographer. Presently, an Architecture university professor, she enjoys her new B&B adventure while perfecting her skills as dedicated breakfast cook.

Each guest room has Egyptian cotton linens, down comforters, extra plump pillows, a cozy feather bed, sitting area and workspace, including wireless Internet! Guests share a hall bathroom, with A2 homemade soap. For snacking, a guest kitchenette is stocked with A2 scrumptious delights plus award winning baker, Kathy V's, delicious homemade goodies.
Breakfast may be collaborative, prepared especially for you, as Joni enjoys creating her passion for cooking and health, so you will be ready to continue on your way to the lively Ann Arbor attractions.
If requested, Joni will provide an A2 speciality "sack or picnic lunch" or offer "expert" recommendatations about "inside" reservations for popular A2 restaurants, entertainment and sports tickets. Personal service and connection is what Joni provides for you!
I have pets are two dogs (Lab & a small puppy) Plus a large grey cat. All lovingly keep seperated from the guest areas and guest rooms.
For your comfort, all rooms in the home are smoke free.

U of M FOOTBALL: My B&B will provide you and a guest with a U of M Fall football package deal including 2(two) nights room, scrumptious breakfast, 2(two) (section 7) U of M football tickets, a pair of tailgate snacks and ride to the stadium, in your car.
All football event reservations to be paid in full, plus tax. For non-refundable reservations, e-mail is best!
Regular Rates for the Apple & Pear Street B&B begin at $129.00 per weeknight and $359.00 per weekend. There are special rates for holidays, A2(Ann Arbor) Art Fair, MIS Racing, U of M hospital visitors, graduations, parent weekends, U of M football Saturdays! yes, we have tickets(Go Blue)!

Business travelers SPECIAL: Clean, quiet and a safe room with "business class service". Such as a copier, wireless Internet and office fax. Start the day with a fabulous "homemade" breakfast, a healthy sack lunch or we offer a relaxing scrumptious dessert in the evening. Rate- $499/work week, plus tax, from Sunday evening to Friday morning. Join Joni for a 25 minute Yoga workout or choose on site exercise equipment. For fresh air at the park, we will loan you our "dog" for walking/jogging or provide you bike for a healthy cardio.

Regular Rates: (non football or holidays) require 50% per night reservation fee is required to hold/confirm your room rental. Your reservation fee is applied to your invoice. However, in the event cancellation is necessary, your reservation fee is not refundable.

After a busy day in Ann Arbor, I really needed to unwind. I went back to my room at the Apple and Pear, stretched out, and listened to one of the many meditation CDs available to guests. Afterward, I relaxed with a walk to the nearby Huron River. Later in the evening, I was offered a snack and a soothing cup of herbal tea from the Innkeeper. Warning: The beds here are the most comfortable you will ever find and you may be spoiled forever (LOL) ;-) In summary, the Apple and Pear has the tranquility of a Holistic Spa and I honestly had the best nights sleep I can remember. Ever. Thanks.

I love the eclectic cozy feel of your entire home. Each room has a unique charm all its own. The kitchen is so cozy, I never want to leave. It's a great get- a- way and I'd love to host my next dinner party in the dining room if you can fit me in. Coctails on the porch; horsdoeuvres in the kitchen. Let's party. Geri
