MICHIGAN VACATION PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Bring your large (up to 29 people in beds/sleeper sofas) or small group to Enjoy Open Acres Lodge year round, located just 5 minutes from Caberfae Peaks Ski & Golf Resort, surrounded by the Manistee National Forest,bordering the Pine River. The lodge consists of 3 units/suites each with a queen size bedroom, full bathroom, kitchenette, sitting area with sleeper sofa and a loft with at least 1 full size and two twin beds (the other 2 suites have an extra twin or full size bed) which allows each suite to accommodate 8, 9, or 10 people. There is also a larger gathering area that has a larger kitchen, full bathroom and sitting area with plenty of seating (including a sleeper sofa) and a fireplace. The entire lodge accommodates up to 29 people. The lodge is completely furnished with all linens, towels, eating and cooking utensils included. This lodge was newly built and completed in 2004. The lodge has a knotty pine nterior, log stairways a country porch, picnic tables, bonfire pit and horse shoes and pit. The yard is large with plenty of room to play volleyball or hike.

We have stayed here four times and loved every minute. Quiet and peaceful setting with long views. Very comfortable accommodations -- if you take the "gathering room" you also get a truly fully equipped kitchen and a great spot to meet, tell stories, strum guitars, etc. Nice porch for settin', two grills, fire pit. We come with just 8-10m people; others use it with 20+. Great spot - just don't try to book our dates!

We had a very enjoyable time when we stayed here for our family vacation. We were amazed by the beauty of this lodge. If you plan on staying here you have to see the place, the pictures don't do justice. This is a place worth staying at. The owner was very very nice and courteous and not pushy or upsale anything. I strongly recommend staying here, very convenient to everywhere. Thanks again for the wonderful vacation the family loved.. Eric the Fireman
