Come to the Cool side of the lakes to enjoy evenings full of campfires & marshmallows....

2 Bedroom Family Vacation Rental on West side of road, backs up to a ravine. Private beach access on opposite side of road w/ in 4 minute walking distance. Property is actually 6 1/2 miles north of Lexington with a mailing address of Applegate. Gift & Craft Shop on Property. Currently only accepting check or cash payments. Master bed room has queen bed, day bed in second bedroom, couch & cot in living area for extra guests.

 Great place to get away & relax.

3 rocking chairs on front porch, & table set on back porch in the woods. Campfire pit, & woods to walk in. Sleeps 5 adult people comfortably. We welcome ALL dogs.

Fresh Ground Coffee, fresh breakfast type basket, many other perks....

Other amenities provided are - Bottled Water,Fresh Fruit Bowl, Firewood, Coffee, bath products, beach Collection Jar,  Candle, firewood, & homemade dog treats( if your family dog is with you). The cottage is a remodeled Trailer with lots of room, come & enjoy the quiet of nature, you may even see a deer or two in the ravine. We do ask that you bring your own chairs to enjoy the beach & camp fire.

We were here for an extended Labor Day weekend 2009. The hosts are so welcoming, and offer many special extra touches that added comfort and pleasure to our stay. The area is lovely and little towns are fun to explore. The beach is wonderful, but access is limited to able-bodied persons with two good legs. Not easy to get to, but a great spot once you make it there. Dogs are welcome, and a treat basket is provided. The adjacent little cemetary is interesting. All in all, a nice, comfortable place with extra amenities and friendly, kind hosts. We'll be back!

The cattage was very nice,with plenty of room.There are woods right off the back porch. Beach is not easy to get to,but very nice once there. The owners are very nice and my wife really like the crafts they had. Week spent a whole week an enjoyed ourselves very much.

My pups and I just spent a lovely fall weekend in the rental. I can't say enough about their wonderful hospitality. The cabin was cozy and tranquil, and I certainly hope to return at some point.

My husband and I spent a beautiful weekend at this rental. I would highly recommend it. The scenery is breathtaking, and very tranquil. I would also like to mention that the amenities go far beyond anything I have come across in my travels. The owners provide a lot of extra's that other places don't, plus they were very welcoming. I can't wait to return to this lovely cottage!
