VINTAGE LOG CABIN ON 100 FEET OF THE SUNSET SIDE OF BLACK LAKE. QUIET AND PEACEFUL AT THE END OF THE STREET. YOU HAVE WOODS ON THE FRONTSIDE, WATER ON THE BACK. WATER IS RIPPLING SAND, WALK OUT OVER 300 FEET, WE HAVE A FEW LARGE ROCKS WHERE THE WATER MEETS THE SHORE FOR EROSION CONTROL.1 WELL BEHAVED PETS ACCEPTED ON A LEASH. ROW BOAT PROVIDE AND WITH BEAUTIFUL SANDY SWIMMING NO MUCK! SWING AND WATCH THE SUNSET AND ENJOY THE CLOSE ORV TRAILS AND RESTAURANT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE!This cabin is rustic and has the basic's, shower and sinks, stove and refrigerator, it is cozy but is in no means a newer building, built to the period and fitting to the area. Black Lake is located in Cheboygan and Presque Isle Counties in northeast Lower Michigan. This 10,000+ acre lake is six miles long and over 3 miles wide. Onaway State Park encompasses 158 acres of land that runs along the southeast shore of the lake. The park contains picturesque cobblestone beaches, unique rock formations and a variety of trees and wildlife. You will find several miles of nature trails in the park for hiking, and Black Lake is well known for their fishing and boating. The lake supports a variety of game fish, including walleyes, yellow perch, small and largemouth bass, northern pike, sturgeon, rock bass and brook trout. Every February, Black Lake hosts the annual Sturgeon Shivaree, a festival that features ice fishing and snowmobile racing. There are also a variety of natural attractions and historic attractions located not far from the park. The highest waterfalls in lower Michigan are only 10 miles east of the park, and 15 miles south are a variety of natural sinkholes.
