This beautiful home has lots of windows with awesome views of  the lake, a grassy yard and 80 feet of sandy beach frontage and sandy lake bottom.

Located on Horseshoe Lake, an 85 acre all sports lake, this vacation home is great for swimming, fishing, boating, windsurfing, jet skiing, wave running and many other fun lake activities right outside the door.  Kayak around the lake, swim, fish or just sit back and relax...you're on vacation!!

Many amenities including TV/VCR/DVD, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker central A/C and outdoor barbeque grill.  Recreational activities in and around the area include bowling, canoeing, golf, hiking trails, horseback riding.

Cancellation Policy: Once the reservation has been made, if you must cancel, notify us immediately. All reservations cancelled thirty days or less from rental date, forfeit the entire deposit unless the cottage is re-rented for the same time period and same rate. Every effort will be made to re-rent the unit, but if it cannot be rented, the deposit will be forfeited. Absolutely no house parties allowed! No sororities, fraternities or non-chaperoned groups are allowed. Should a group misrepresent themselves, they will be required to vacate the premises immediately without refund.

RATES/PAYMENT INFORMATION

Fall/Winter $220 per night

Spring/Summer $1500 per week

Reservations for stays longer than one day require a $200 damage deposit.

For single night stays we require a $500 deposit.

All monies must be received and deposited at least 10 days prior to arrival to secure entry.

Mike - Sorry we never met in person, your directions were great, as was the cottage. Our week there was marked by fine weather and great company. (We had a sort of informal family reunion with a few of my sisters, their families, and my folks -- and they've all been raving about the place as well). The house is in a great location for us (near Ann Arbor and Novi where my family is) and our stay was very relaxing. I think my nephews especially loved the tarzan swing. You've got a very nice place. -Andy P.S. and you might appreciate the (attached) picture I took one (rare) morning when I was up by myself around sunrise. It's the desktop picture on my computer now.

We really had a good time last week at "over the rainbow". The couple times it rained just a bit, a rainbow followed. Even some fire works from your crazy neighbor!! The house was very adequate for all of us. I especially like the kitchen with its spacious counter tops and the openness of the area looking out to the lake. Thank you for making your home available for us. I don't know what next summer will bring - maybe we'll be back. I have recommended your place to a friend who wants to rent something close to Ann Arbor. Thanks again.

Hi Linda – Hope you all found property condition favorable from our beautiful vacation as our memories are more than we expected. We once again were so happy to have the opportunity and blessing to revisit the “Rainbow”. The weather was picture perfect. Neighbors Scott & Terry and William make our visit special. They are what we call our “vacation bonus buddies”. We would like to thank you and Michael for providing a truly special memory for our family. Enjoy the rest of the summer and year. Mike & Linda, Thanks so much for a wonderful few days at your lake house. It was a very relaxing time for us and our "kids", lol. Needless to say they were both ready for a getaway as were we! Sadie our newest addition to the family just loved it. She learned to swim for the first time and she's now a water pro! Of course Bentley showed her how it's really done, lol. We also enjoyed watching the swans...don't remember seeing them last year. They provided lots of entertainment for us with what we referred to as their "butt swim"...head submerged looking for food as their behinds were above water with their feet...looked like they were doing a hand stand in the water :) So once again a wonderful experience and backdrop for our time away. We've referred your website to some family and friends that may also be looking for a getaway sometime in the future. Thank you again for the accommodations! Pam n Tom
