Approximately 10 miles west of the Cottage is Lake Michigan where you can explore all the beaches, water activities, sand dunes, and lighthouses Benzie County has to offer. Other area lakes are also within minutes of your enjoyment. The Wayberry Cottage is beautifully modeled after Northern Michigan cottages from the early 1900s while embracing all the comforts and benefits of modern living. Whether spending your days sightseeing or playing golf at Mistwood, a 27-hole course only 3 minutes away, come back to enjoy the hot tub or relaxing on the screened-in porch while reading a good book. RATES/PAYMENT INFORMATION

Post Labor Day to Pre Memorial Day $1000 per week

Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend $1400 per week

The weeks including Christmas and New Years are by the night.
During the off season (Post Labor Day through Pre Memorial Day), the cottage is available for $400/2 nights with additional nights available.
All weekly rentals will be on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
A $300 refundable cleaning deposit is required.

We heard about the Wayberry from some friends and were delighted to be the first guests! Maria is only 7 months old and this was her first vacation. We had a great time and would love to visit again! Having a family fun week. The weather has been great (80's) and it only rained the first night. We did some resting at the Wayberry, climbed the dunes, shopped in Leland and Suttons Bay, visited the Cherry Festival and spent a day on Mackinaw Island. All excursions were great and highly recommended. We will definitely be back and recommend these accommodations to others. Matt and Jennie have been wonderful! Thanks for everything! We have loved being here this week! We went to lots of fun places including Otter Creek, Gwen Frostic's, the Frankfort Art Fair, Glen Arbor, and the sunsets at Empire on Lake Michigan. But probably our best memories wil be the giggles around the fooseball table with the grandkids. We had lots of family visit us and the Wayberry held 12 people just fine. (We're trying to spread the word for Matt & Jennie) We moved to Colorado from Troy, MI for a less hectic lifestyle, beautiful weather and the mountains. Little did we know we could have found it in Northern Michigan! Special thanks to Matt & Jennie for making this week possible, we highly recommend the Wayberry! Girl's Weekend There were 6 of us girls who were friends from high school that gathered at the Wayberry for a girls only weekend away from the husbands and kids. We drove up from the Owosso area in a blizzard (October 12!) and had cold weather so we stayed cozy in the cottage using the fireplace, hot tub, pool table, and lots of girl talk.
